Allama Iqbal Library is the public library built during the British Empire. Its is Completed in 1911, and it houses several books, journals and galleries. The old name of this library is Cornashian Library. The library has 3000 permanent members. Hundred of people comes here every day and learn many new things.
In this building “Urdu”, “Arabic”, “Holy prophet life”, “philosophy”, “science”, “economics”, “history” and on many more topics more then 36000 books are published. Books of Oxford are available in another gallery. The books of CSS and Judiciary are also available for preparing different competitive exams. One part of the library is fixed for newspaper reading. Every day hundreds of people come and read different newspapers. The environment is outstanding in Allama Iqbal Library.
